While addressing the State Ministers and senior officials, Giriraj Singh requested all to learn and adopt the best practices in the field of land management, land acquisition and appreciated the foundational land governance work being done in the States.
Singh while speaking on the importance of ULPIN, said that when this system will be implemented in the true spirit most of the land disputes will be resolved.
Jogen Mohan, Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Assam, informed that to integrate all processes around the land records database, the State Government has initiated a consolidated effort under the flagship Mission Basundhara.
Jogen Mohan said that the ULPIN will be generated for real-time accurate land parcel measurement after end-to-end integration of digitised land records and maps, which will be done after the survey of non-cadastral villages and re-survey of all cadastral villages.
