A shocking incident unfolded at the Kuttipuram bus stand when onlookers discovered a man eating raw cat meat.
Man Eats Raw Cat Meat at Kuttipuram Bus Stand
The man, hailing from the Dhubri district of Assam, was subsequently admitted to the Kozhikode government mental hospital after a preliminary examination at the taluk hospital suggested underlying mental health issues.
The unsettling scene occurred around 5 pm, with witnesses alerting the police upon spotting the man consuming the raw meat. Concerned by his apparent hunger, authorities provided him with food after learning he had not eaten for four days.
Despite disappearing from the scene on Saturday evening, the man was located near Kuttipuram railway station the following Sunday morning.
Further investigation revealed that he had travelled from Chennai to Kozhikode, where his brother resides, before going missing. His brother confirmed to the police that the man had vanished from Chennai. Following these developments, he was transferred to the Kozhikode mental hospital for thorough examination and care.
