The Assam Government led by Himanta Biswa Sarma, has been denounced by Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Ripun Bora for the professed slow pace of vaccination in the state and harming age-old social harmony by initiating Cattle Preservation Law in the state.
In regards of conduction of duties
Conducting a scrutiny of the performance of the last 100 days of the BJP-led Government, the MP also alleged that the inter state border issue had a rapid increase during the new dispensation and it has gone back on the promise of waiving the micro finance loan of women.

Alleged BJP of making false claims to people
Further, the MP in a statement said that Sarmas’s Government has made claims about success in various fields but “practically there’s nothing to show as achievements.”
He further added, “People of the State know whether the Congress members in the various districts of Assam are with them or not. But the people of the State also know that it is due to the faulty COVID policy of the BJP government at the Centre led by PM Modi that the people of Assam are suffering due to lack of vaccines.”
