In yet another mishap, a 23-year-old youth is been killed in a road accident in Gossaigaon area of Assam on the afternoon of January 28.
Assam youth succumbed to accident:
The incident took place in front of Teliputa market. Islam was riding his motorcycle when a truck collided head-on with his vehicle resulting in his death on spot.
Truck driver held by locals:
According to reports, locals held the truck driver responsible for the accident but some claimed it as an accident from both sides as it was a busy hour.
Aftermath:
Police reached the site and sent the body for post mortem reports. They also seized the motorcycle and the truck and said that no one could be held responsible for the accident.
The deceased has been identified as Saiful Islam and the incident took place in front of Teliputa market. Islam was riding his motorcycle when a truck collided head-on with his vehicle resulting in his death on spot.
