In yet another mishap a Massive fire broke out in Bokajan market area in district of Karbi Anglong in Assam on February 20.
Fire erupts in Assam:
According to sources, the legal authorities suspected that the fire broke out due to a short circuit. Fire tenders reached the spot. However, no casualties have been reported so far.
The reports further claimed that property worth crores of rupees has been destroyed in the devastating fire that erupted in the morning hours.
Aftermath:
Fire tenders reached the spot soon after receiving information and doused the raging blaze.
Previous incidents:
Earlier, in November 2021 a massive fire broke out in the railway colony of Panbazar. The fire broke out during the morning hours and mainly affected the area near Kalimandir Path located in the Railway colony.
According to sources, the fire spread over a large area and led to the destruction of several houses in the railway colony setting houses ablaze.
One of the houses in the area that belonged to Basanti Basfore got severely affected by the fire. The huge fire in the area as a whole resulted in the loss of property worth more than ten lakhs.
