Big bust! Assam Rifles and Manipur Police joint operation apprehends 2 insurgents

Assam Rifles along with Manipur police on Friday, December 24, has apprehended two militants of the United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) in Thoubal and Bishnupur districts.

Assam Rifles, via its official Twitter handle, on Sunday, tweeted about it.

Operation based on Tip-off

The operation was based on a tip-off as Assam Rifles and Manipur Police conducted joint operations and nabbed these insurgents. According to reports, the arrested militants were handed over to the Nangpok Sekmai and Bishnupur Police Stations.
