Only Residents of Assam can sit for APSC exams; Applicants must have to speak Assamese or any official language

In a new decision taken by Assam Cabinet on Wednesday it has been announced that only residents of Assam can sit for the APSC exam.

Also, the language paper will not be there in the written test. However, applicants will have to speak fluently in Assamese or another official language of the state or tribal language.
