Bollywood‘s king khan, SRK and Tapsee Pannu is all set for their upcoming project Dunki, directed by the famous 3 Idiots director, Raj Kumar Hirani. The film is set to release next year.
SRK’s new release
The movie is all set to be released by next year December. The announcement of the new project was given by both the actor’s on their Instagram Handles. Shah Rukh uploaded quite an interesting video of him and the director where in the latter was seen to have told Shah Rukh that he has a rom com movie for him too.
The audience and all B town celebrities were seen to have commented, liked and shared the posts. No one could contain their excitement. Many popular celebs including his wife Gauri, Anaya Pandey and is daughter commented on the post. Newly married Alia Bhatt also took to her IG atories to share the video and captioned it as ‘LOVE!!!!’.
The film is presented by SRK and Gauri’s Red chillies entertainment, Jio studios and will release on 22nd of December 2023.
As per reports, Tapsee revealed that,”Yes its hard to make it till here and its harder when you are all by yourself but then a superstar said if you have the determination to work for it then even universe cannot stop you from manifesting your dreams into reality. Almost it took 10 years but finally All is Well.”
The actress has done many good projects and her acting skills were highly appreciated especially in Pink.
Even director Raj Kumar Hirani said that it took a lot of time for them to collaborate together and finally Dunki will mark its beginning.
SRK’s fan are not only in India but across the globe. People can be singing to his old bollywood numbers and trying to copy his signature pose. He is an icon for all generations. People have gone hay wired knowing that the two has collaborated for the very first time on screen. The director has worked with many famous stars like Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt and many others and now SRK also features in his list.
Just like any other Hirani film, Dunki will also carry a social message –
As per reports from leading source, Dunki is basically a social drama that has hints of immigration issue. Dunki or Donkey flight means a backdoor entry for foreign nationals to enter a country illegally via making multiple stops.
The story will highlight the life of a punjabi guy and how he immigrated to canada. The last scene of the announcement video also reveals some hint of the movie as people can be seen walking in a desert and trying to cross over a border.
