By following all the norms of Covid-19, the Tokyo Paralympics will be starting between 24 August and 5 September. As the Japanese government launches the COVID-19 emergency measures, it has been decided that the Paralympics will be held without spectators.
Municipalities are allowed to have school children attend events as long as they follow the covid 19 appreciative behaviour, said the Organisers. Measures have also been implemented while taking note of the wishes of caregivers.
Sports that will be played in the competition are:
The Paralympic competitions will conduct table tennis, wheelchair fencing, swimming, and basketball. With around 4,000 athletes with various impairments, the event will take place, catching the eye of Olympic fans.
Most common sports include swimming and athletics. Boccia and goalball are two new and unique sports to the Paralympics.
When will the event take place?
On August 24, at 4:30 PM IST, the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Paralympics will begin.

The Eurosport channels will be telecasting the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. The discovery+ app can stream the Eurosport channels. Doordarshan will be broadcasting the Tokyo Paralympics LIVE.
