The state government of Madhya Pradesh has set aside one crore to help those affected by the recent communal violence in Khargone.
According to a poll conducted by the district administration on April 19, financial help would be offered based on the results of the survey.

Relaxation in Curfew by Khargone administration
The Khargone administration, in keeping with tradition, relaxed the curfew for four hours on April 19 morning, which had been imposed in the city on April 17 night following violence during Ram Navami celebrations, they claimed.

Every day for four hours since April 14, the local authority has relaxed the curfew. “The administration conducted a survey and submitted a report to the State Government, which has allocated one crore,” said P. Anugraha, the Khargone District Collector.
Moreover, financial help will be provided promptly to the affected persons and vendors whose homes, stores, automobiles, and other property were damaged as a result of the violence, based on the results of this survey.
People hurried out to buy milk, veggies, supplies, and medicines when the curfew in Khargone city was loosened between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Tuesday.
Only establishments selling milk, vegetables, and medicines are allowed to remain open during the curfew relaxation, according to the government order (GO). Essential products can be purchased in their local shops.

However, gas stations will stay closed, and the sale of kerosene at fair price shops operated by the Public Distribution System (PDS) would be suspended, according to the order.
Officials said that in the evening, more flexibility in the curfew could be provided.
