Jharkhand: In yet another series of barbaric incidents a video went viral where a Muslim man was brutally beaten up by a mob of individuals in Dhanbad, Jharkhand and was forced to chant the slogan ‘Jai Shree Slogan’ and lick his own spit allegedly by workers belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party.
About the incident in Jharkhand:
The victim was identified as 32-year-old Zeeshan Khan. This incident took place at the site of a protest conducted by BJP workers and supporters. The agitators were protesting against the alleged lapse in security of Prime Minister Modi in Punjab earlier this week.
CM Soren condemns the incident:
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren strongly condemned the brutal incident and took the same to his official Twitter handle. Through the post the Minister asked the district officials to investigate the matter and take appropriate action against the culprits.
According to sources, the BJP’s Dhanbad MLA and MP were also present in the protest.
