Kartik Vasudev, a 21 year Indian Student was dead shortly after receiving serious injuries from a gun shot. He was shot at the front of an entrance of a subway station in the capital city of Canada.

The boy sustained serious injuries after being wounded by the gun shot. He received multiple shots and was declared dead on the way to the hospital.
According to the police department in Toronto, The victim was on his to work when the incident happened. He was shot multiple times at the entrance of a subway station, at the Glen Road entrance in St James Town
An off duty paramedic helped him when he was injured and was immediately rushed to the hospital but unfortunately the young boy sustained to his injuries. The homicide department of the Toronto police has taken over the case and has started their investigation. They are looking for any leads at the moment – from witnesses and camera footage.
The Consulate General of India expressed his sadness and has extended his condolences to his family. He tweeted “we are shocked and distressed at the unfortunate killing of Indian Student Kartik Vasudev in a shooting incident in Toronto yesterday”.
The victim’s family has been informed and the mortal remains will be brought to the family as soon as possible by the Toronto Government. This tragic incident has left everyone in his family were devastated and in shock. Vasudev’s brother spoke to one of the news channels and said that he was a student of Seneca College and was enrolled in management programme.
The Police Department has further stated that the suspect is a black man who is 5’7 feet tall and was seen carrying a gun in Glen Road.
