The government has come across several vulnerabilities in Google Chrome that might lead to hacking. Users should upgrade their Google Chrome browser right away, according to official instructions.

About the notice:

In terms of Web security, the Google Chrome browser uses a sandboxing technique. Users of the Chrome browser have been issued a “very strong” warning by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In). The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology oversees CERT-In (MeitY).

According to the reports, if a user does not upgrade Google Chrome, the possibility of the device being hacked and personal information being taken remains.

The Google engineering staff, like the government, has constantly recommended people to upgrade their Chrome browser. According to Google, the updated Chrome browser includes 22 different security enhancements that strive to improve user privacy.

About the glitches:

Maximum of the glitch were found in the Google Chrome browser, according to the CERT-In study. According to the investigation, owing to a genetic misunderstanding, Google Chrome is dangerous to use on V8. Web application, user interaction, screen capture, file API, auto-fill, and development tools were all identified as flaws. As a result, Chrome users should download the most recent version of Google.
