Assam: In order to make ‘Atma Nirbhar’ in seed production, the Assam Government has initiated to provide impetus to seed producers.
About the scheme by Assam Government:
Under the scheme certified seeds will be available to farmers at the rate of Rs. 1 per ten hectare, this shall lead to certification of seed/saplings. This facility will be available for the farmers for the next 3 years.
