On February 8, Akshay Kumar planned to cancel the appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, but the disaster has stalled.

Kapil Sharma Tweet for Akshay Kumar:

The host of the onymous comedy show Kapil Sharma tweeted in the following day that he spoke to Akshay Kumar regarding the incident and everything is well and the actor will promote his new upcoming film Bachchan Pandey as per the schedule in the show.

Reason for Akshay Kumar’s reaction:

As per the sources, the actor was offended as one of his shots from the previous episode was leaked online from the show. But, Kapil Sharma elucidates in his tweet, “Dear friends, I was reading all the news in the media about me and Akshay paji. I have just spoken to paji and sorted all this out, it was just a miscommunication, all is well and very soon we are meeting to shoot the Bachchan Pandey episode. He is my big bro and can never be annoyed with me, thank you.”

Sources from Hindustan Time:

On Monday, as reported by Hindustan Time, the Bachchan Pandey episode was put on hold as the actor refused to attend The Kapil Sharma Show. The problem started when Kapil Sharma referred to Akshay Kumar’s interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

However, after filming the episode, the actor asked the channel that telecast the Kapil Sharma Show for not airing the clip and the channel agreed for the same. However, the clip got leaked online.

The sources mention in Hindustan Times, “Akshay took all of Kapil’s jokes head-on but the dig on the PM interview seemed to mock the dignity of such a high office. So Akshay requested the channel to not air that question. It is a right of the guests to make such a request as the show is not live.

The channel agreed, but the said scene was leaked on the internet soon after. It was a breach of trust on the part of someone in Kapil’s team, and Akshay sought a clarification before he appears on the show again.”

Justification for the test:

To clarify and mend the situation, Kapil Sharma’s tweet has worked as a damage control. Bachchan Pandey, directed by Farhad Samji, co-stars Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi and Pankaj Tripathi. It releases in cinemas on March 18.
