The Assam Police has once again bagged victory over drugs peddling in the state.
On December 21, a man have been arrested by the Gorchuk Police in charges of drug peddling in Guwahati.
About the incident in Assam:
A team of WGPD arrested a man and seized narcotic tablets from his possession in an operation conducted at the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) in Guwahati. As per the sources, the night super bus was raided by the police while the bus was heading towards Mankachar in South Salmara-Mankachar District.
About the seized items:
A huge cache of contraband that included as many as 7200 capsules of narcotic SAMPFX+ tablets in 300 strips were recovered from the convict.

The Guwahati Police informed about the bust via Twitter. It wrote, “#WarOnDrugs A WGPD team from Gorchuk PS arrested one Mansur Ali from a Mancachar bound bus at ISBT today. A huge cache of NDPS contraband; 7200 capsules in 300 strips, was recovered from him. Legal action has been initiated and further investigation is on. #AssamAgainstDrugs”.
