Meghalaya: Police officers arrested two illegal drug dealers in South Garo Hills; registers case under NDPS Act

Shillong: With the continuation of its offenses against drug abuse, the police officials in South Garo Hills, arrested two persons for possession of illegal drugs.

Working on special inputs, the Police team arrested two people, a male and a female from Baigankhona village under Sibbari and seized 3 packets containing 608 tablets of YaBa/Methamphetamine/World-is-Yours tablets weighing 64 gms.

According to police, a case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has also been registered at Baghmara Police Station and investigation is on.
