Age Limit: The age of the candidate shall not be more than 60 years as on 1st November 2021.
Also, as mentioned, selected candidates shall have a contractual tenure of appointment for five years.
Or until attaining the superannuation age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
Salary: Starting Pay Scale would be (Level-14) Rs.1,44,200/- with the special allowance of Rs.6,750/- per month.
Also, other allowances as per Govt. of Assam rules will be provided.
Additionally, 60 litres of Fuel per month for conveyance is also given.
Job Location: Guwahati, Assam
Further, as per the official notification the last Date to apply is 23rd February 2022 and the job type will be permanent.
Education and Eligibility
The candidates who are willing to apply are expected to have professional credentials and contributions, having demonstrated administrative capabilities.
Also the applicant should have:
i) Ph.D. degree and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch
ii) At least two successful Ph.D. guided as supervisor / Co-Supervisor and minimum 8 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.
iii) Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching / research/ industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at the post equivalent to that of Professor.
