In a major accident one man died after being hit by truck in Guwahati’s Jorabat area.
As per reports from the Sentinel, the man was in his scooter and it collided with a truck.
The incident occurred in Jorabat’s Ghanashyam Basti.

Further, as per reports, it is yet to ascertained whether the truck hit the scooter or the scooter collided with the truck.
However, the deceased has not been identified yet. The truck was heading towards Sonapur when it hit the person’s scooter.
As per the initial report, it has been found that the scooter is registered in the name of Amrit Telenlga.
Driver of the truck fleed
Further, as per reports the driver of the truck managed to escape from the incident but was later caught by the police.
More investigation regarding the case is underway.
Few days back in another road accident a woman was killed and her husband was left injured.
Reportedly, the woman was killed and her husband was left injured when a truck hit their scooter in Assam’s Tinsukia district.
