Tezpur University has released a notification for the Tezpur University Faculty recruitment of 71 professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professor vacancies in various departments.

1. Assistant Professor
No of posts: 17
Educational Qualification for Tezpur University Faculty:
a) Ph.D. degree in relevant field (detailed below separately) and First Class or equivalent at either bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch (detailed below separately).
AND
b) Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least three (3) years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
AND
c) At least six (06) research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/ UGC/AICTE approved list of journals and at least two (2) Ph.D. guided as Supervisor/Co-Supervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion.
Or,
At least ten (10) research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility for promotion.
Pay: Academic Level 14 with Rationalized Entry Pay of Rs.1,44,200/-
2. Associate Professor
No of posts: 17
Educational Qualification for Tezpur University Faculty:
a) Ph.D. degree in relevant field (detailed below separately) and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor or Master’s level in the relevant branch (detailed below separately).
AND
b) Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least three (3) years shall be at a post Ph.D. experience.
AND
c) At least six (06) research publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals.
Pay: Academic Level 13A with Rationalized Entry Pay of Rs.1,31,400/-
3. Assistant Professor
No of posts: 37
Educational Qualification for Tezpur University Faculty:
# Engineering/ Technology: BE/B.Tech/B.S and ME/M.Tech/MS or Integrated M.Tech in the relevant branch (detailed below separately) with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
# Design: Bachelor’s degree in Design/any branch of Engineering & Technology with First Class or equivalent and Master’s Degree in Design with First Class or equivalent.
Pay: Academic Level 10 with Rationalized Entry Pay of Rs.57,700/-
