On Monday, Assam police seized heroin worth Rs 12 crore and four people were arrested in separate incidents.
In response to a tip, a team of Assam Police and CRPF officers intercepted a car in the Rengma Basti of the Khatkhati Police Station on Sunday evening – seized heroin worth Rs 12 crore.

Police have arrested three people who were in the car: two Manipuris and a Naga.
In a separate incident, police arrested the driver on Sunday after seizing 241 grammes of heroin worth Rs 2 crore from a car in Dillai near the Bokajan Police Station during a routine check.
