The walk out was started by the western bloc followed by Indonesia, Brazil, South Africa, China, and Saudi Arabia. Rishi Sunak who is the British Chancellor also walked out of the room.
As per reports from Freeland, “The world’s democracies will not stand idly by in the face of continued Russian aggression and war crimes. The illegal invasion of Ukraine is a grave threat to the global economy. Russia should not be participating or included in these meetings.”

In a separate tweet by Rishi Sunak, he said he condemned the act of Russia and will push back harder to punish for this grave crime. Even though many countries of the world are against but there are many who continues to engage with political and diplomatic affairs with the country. A similar position to that of India is Indonesia who despite its position of presidency of the G20 summit continues to trade with the invader.
