Single-day Covid-19 cases in Assam doesn’t seem to stop. As on January 11, it almost touch 3000 marks by reporting 2837 cases in a single-day spike. Kamrup (M) alone reported 870 covid cases in a day.
Overall Positively percentage is at 5.69%.
Top 7 police officers tested positive recently
ADGP Hiren Nath, DIG Satyaraj Hazarika, Sonitpur SP Dhananjay P. Ghanawat, Baksa SP Rajen Singh, Sadiya SP Mohanlal Meena, Goalpara SP V.V. Rakesh Reddy, and CID SP Pranabjyoti Goswami have all tested positive for COVID-19 virus, according to reports.
Over 100 senior police officers, including 94 superintendents of police (SP), additional superintendents of police (ASP), and sub-divisional police officers (SDPO), attended the second edition of the superintendents of police (SP) conference at the Zaloni Club in Duliajan, Dibrugarh district, from January 3 to 4, 2022.
The second edition of the superintendents of police (SP) conference was started in Duliajan by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
