Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are officially husband and wife after much speculation surrounding the wedding ceremony. In spite of the heavy security, photos of their wedding got leaked into the media earlier in the evening.
The pictures leaked online showed the bride in a red lehenga and a groom in an ivory sherwani wearing garlands. And now, Vicky Kaushal, sharing his official wedding picture, wrote on social media, “Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together.”
Although the arrangements and guest list for the wedding have been closely guarded, close friends and colleagues of the couple, including Katrina’s frequent collaborator filmmaker Kabir Khan, his actor wife Mini Mathur, director Vijay Krishna Achara of Dhoom 3 and Thugs of Hindostan fame, actor couple Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi were among those attending the wedding.
According to media reports, the pair hosted a private party for their guests on Tuesday, December 7. Ahead of their wedding, they participated in Haldi, Mehendi, and Sangeet ceremonies on Wednesday, December 8.
The marriage ceremony has been kept under wraps and hence detailed security arrangements have also been made.
However, many Twitter users have shared some pictures with the claim that the stills are from the Vicky-Katrina wedding at Six Senses Fort.
