On Saturday, the Jorhat Police arrested another accused of the infamous lynching case of AASU Leader with the help of citizens.
14th accused to be arrested so far
According to Police, he has been identified as Priyangshu Das,18 years old and is the 14th accused to be arrested so far. He is the son of Lt Diganta Das.

So far, Police has arrested 14 people including the main accused. The main accused Niraj Das aka Kola Lora later died. He had jumped from a moving car to escape from police custody while then being hit by another escorting vehicle m
Three police personnel were also badly injured and the car got severely damaged. Niraj was declared brought dead at JMCH.
About the Incident
Animesh Bhuyan was killed after a mob of 50 people attacked him and two others on Monday, November 29. Animesh was the Education secretary of AASU Brahmaputra Anchal (Golaghat Unit).
