A woman police officer was robbed of Rs 10 lakh in the daytime in Guwahati’s Kahilipara area on Friday.
According to sources, the incident occurred at a petroleum depot whilst the bike-borne miscreants snatched the bag packed with cash from the female police officer and sped away.

She had withdrawn the cash from a bank nearby moments ago. It is suspected that the miscreants were stalking her after which hatched a plan to rob her.
