A 107-year old lady from the Golaghat district in Assam is winning the hearts of netizens as she takes her jab with sheer confidence.

Nandan Pratim Sharma Bordoloi, Editor and Anchor of NewsLive tweeted, “At a time when some people have quarreled with health workers by refusing to take vaccines, this 107 old grandma who have seen 5 generations of her family, brimming with wholeheartedly comes forward to take Covid19 vaccine wholeheartedly. Kamarbondha Golaghat, Assam.”
Assam Government’s door to door vaccination drive
The government of Assam initiated the door to door vaccination drive, and following the same, the health workers are initiating the vaccination drive in all the possible rural areas. However, they are getting disappointed in the end where some visuals revealed how some individuals were afraid and resisted taking a jab.
Previous incidents in detail
On Thursday, a few Government Health workers went to Tinsukia District for a vaccination drive crossing the terrible road and dangerous rivers. But when they reached the place, all they heard is no vaccination.
One woman among them claimed herself to be god and said, “I am not more than god, and how can goddess take the vaccine? Everyone in the world knows I am God. Don’t you people know this?”
By saying this she escaped the health workers. It’s not only her who escaped according to the health workers, most of them said no and escaped. The government though ordered quick completion of vaccination but did not provide any facility to complete the same.
