In Ganeshguri area of Guwahati a fraud has been caught by local shopkeepers for allegedly cheating them.
The fraud collected money from the shopkeepers of Ganeshguri and promised them to provide a loan from the State Bank of India.
The fraud has been identified as Rezaul Ali
As per reports from The Sentinel, the accused has been identified as Rezaul Ali. He collected money from some businessmen in Ganeshguri area promising them bank loans.
The businessmen said that Ali collected Rs. 6 to 7 thousand from each of them. But in return even after 1 month they did not receive the loans as per promise. At last they caught him and bit him.
One of the shopkeeper said, “I pay Rs. 6 thousand to him. He promised us SBI loans. But we could not realize it according to his promise.”
