Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi, has been relieved of his duties as Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Environment & Forest.

Dr. lB. Ekka, Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Panchayat & Rural Development, Tea Tribes Welfare, and Labour Welfare Departments, has been relieved of the additional responsibility of Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Labour Welfare Department.
As an extra duty, Dr. Siddharth Singh, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Health & FW and Sports & YW Departments, has been posted as MD, Atal Amrit Abhiyan.
Rakesh Kumar, MD, APDCL, and Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam’s Fishery and Irrigation Departments, has been relieved of his additional responsibilities as Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam’s Irrigation Department.
Kavitha Padmanabhan, Nagaon’s Deputy Commissioner, has been transferred to the Government of Assam’s Housing and Urban Affairs and Irrigation Departments as Commissioner and Secretary.

Prabhati Thaosen, Darrang’s Deputy Commissioner, has been promoted to Secretary to the Government of Assam’s Departments of Border Protection and Development, as well as Tourism.
Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha of Dibrugarh has been transferred to Kamrup as Deputy Commissioner (Metro).
