The Government of Assam launched Project Sadbhawna. In this project, all the pending files of the secretariat before May 10, 2021, will be cleared. The pending files will be completed by May 10, 2022. This project further will help in moving towards e-governance.

“Launched Project Sadbhawna as part of our efforts to make governance people-friendly. We aim at clearing all old files prior to May 10, 2021 pending at Secretariat by May 10, 2022. The project will alleviate the hardships of citizens as they won’t have to visit Govt offices.”
Project to start by Nov 10
“We plan to start off the project by Nov 10. Citizens will be able to share their file numbers at Govt of Assam & RTPS portals, facilitation centres & at a dedicated counter outside Secretariat. This will also help in focusing on governance and migrating to e-governance”, tweeted Himanta Biswa Sarma

Phases of the project
1st phase – A 3-month window to citizens for registration and quoting file numbers on RTPS portal/ govt website. People without access to the internet can approach Public Facilitation Centres for registration to share details.

2nd phase – Departments to get 3 months to clear all old cases and close the files. Due diligence regarding old cases to be done by departments and final decisions taken.
