In Assam’s Sorbhog area, a birthday party turned ugly when the birthday boy set himself on fire following a quarrel. The incident occurred on Monday, December 20, evening.
To celebrate Raunak’s birthday, Raunak Jajodia and his female friend along with others went to the Beki river bridge. Something led to a quarrel between Raunak and the girl, Raunak set himself on fire.
What did the Police say?
Barpeta police said that Raunak set himself on fire after a quarrel with the girl. “Immediately, the woman tried to rescue him and also caught on fire. Both of have suffered burn injuries but stable now,” said police sources.
Police have already confirmed the facts with the driver of the vehicle in which they were traveling. However, police have been also trying to find out any other possible reasons behind the incident.
