Assam Agriculture University students in Jorhat have been tested positive for Covid-19.
Reportedly, almost 44 students have tested Covid-19 positive.
Assam Agriculture University hostels to be declared containment zones
After the detection of 44 positive students from AAU, the authorities have been forced to declare hotels number 11 and 12 as containment zones.
Recently, Assam reported 988 new COVID-19 cases, 448 recoveries and one death, as per state’s health department.
The state has a total active cases of 5,087 and the positivity rate stands at 6.48 per cent.
